Unlocking Potential

Changing Lives

Teenage documentary maker Elliot Jones disrupts stereotypes of dyslexia by presenting the strengths and capabilities of dyslexic thinking. He hopes that by opening the conversation with inspirational speakers from New Zealand with dyslexia, it will invite a more open and thriving narrative about how dyslexia can take you places you may never have imagined.

Elliot directed and produced the documentary while in his final year at school and he sees it as a tool to help reshape society’s perception of dyslexia and get you inspired about the future of dyslexic thinking.

Featuring interviews with actor Alex Tarrant, wellbeing coach Bridie Munro, Harvard University rower Fergus Ritchie, FTI Consulting managing director Josh Cameron, Soho House North America chef Jake Westacott, UNICEF CEO Michelle Sharp, Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson, Weta Workshop founder Sir Richard Taylor, and Olympic shot-put medalist Tom Walsh.
